To promote China-related financial innovation research, Department of Finance and Accounting and the Academy of Internet Finance at Zhejiang University in conjunction with the Accounting & Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand will co-organize the 2018 China Financial Innovation Conference (CFIC). CFIC provides a high-quality academic exchange platform, where finance and accounting scholars and practitioners worldwide can share their in-depth research on important issues on financial innovation and other related areas in China.

CONFERENCE

The Department of Finance and Accounting, and Academy of Internet Finance at Zhejiang University in conjunction with the Accounting and Finance journal (AF) is pleased to invite submission of research papers to the 2018 China Financial Innovation Conference (CFIC), leading to a special issue of AF. This year's theme is "Financial Innovation and New Development in Chinese Financial Markets", but studies on related topics are also welcome. 


The conference will be held from November 3 to November 4, 2018 in Hangzhou, China. 


TOPICS

The conference organizers would like to invite the submission of papers relating to all aspects of accounting and finance. Both theoretical and empirical papers are encouraged in areas which include, but are not limited to: Financial innovation, Internet finance, FinTech, Environmental finance, Portfolio management, Corporate finance, Mutual funds, Capital markets, Financial accounting, and Banking.

SPECIAL ISSUE of the ACCOUNTING and FINANCE

After the conference, the Guest Editors will invite selected authors participating in the conference to submit their papers to the Special Issue of the AF with the theme "Financial Innovation and New Development in Chinese Financial Markets". The Guest Editors of the Special Issue are: Professor Jing Shi, Professor Qigui Liu, Professor Shenglin Ben and Professor Weidong Xu.


Please note that presentation at the conference does not guarantee acceptance of the paper for publication in the AF and attending the workshop is not a precondition for acceptance into the Special Issue.
