贲博士现任浙江大学管理学院财务与会计系主任、教授、博士生导师，浙大互联网金融研究院创始院长，中国人民大学国际货币研究所执行所长。
贲博士的主要社会兼职包括中央统战部党外知识分子建言献策小组经济组成员，浙江省政协常委、经济委员会副主任，浙江省人民政府参事，浙江互联网金融联盟（联合会）联合主席，广东金融专家顾问委员会顾问委员和伦敦大学学院（UCL）区块链科技研究中心学术顾问委员会委员以及青岛啤酒有限公司、中国国际金融有限公司等多家公司的独立董事和监事。
贲博士有着丰富的国际金融业经历，是海内外各类论坛的常邀演讲嘉宾，在金融科技、新金融、国际金融等领域发表或出版了多篇文章和书籍。
贲博士先后获得清华大学工程学士学位、中国人民大学企业管理硕士学位和美国普渡大学经济学博士学位。

Before joining Zhejiang University as a full-time professor in May 2014, Dr. Ben served in financial services firms like ABN AMRO, HSBC and lastly JP Morgan Chase as CEO, JP Morgan Chase Bank (China) Co Ltd.
Dr. Ben is well-trusted advisor to public and private organizations. He is Joint Chairman of Zhejiang Association of Internet Finance; Executive Director, International Monetary Institute, Renmin University of China; Counselor to Zhejiang Provincial Government and a member of Standing Committee & Vice Chairman of its Economic Commission of Zhejiang CPPCC. He is also a non-executive board director of leading companies including China International Capital Corporation, Tsingtao Brewery and Bank of Ningbo.
A well-sought-after speaker at home and abroad, Dr. Ben has published many articles and books in Fintech and international finance, including In Pursuit of Presence & Prominence - Chinese Banks Going Global (Zhejiang University Press and Springer 2018).
Dr. Ben has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Tsinghua University, a Master’s degree in management from Renmin University of China and Ph.D. degree in Economics from Purdue University, USA.
His research areas include: International Finance, New Finance (Internet Finance, FinTech, Entrepreneurial Finance), Global Business.

Academy of Internet Finance (AIF), Zhejiang University is headquartered in Hangzhou - one of the foremost FinTech hubs in China and the world. The first, and broadest, interdisciplinary research institute of its kind in China, AIF boasts the unrivaled connectivity with industry and government authorities, as it has served as the founding presidency of Zhejiang Association of Internet Finance, alongside Ant Financial, a global FinTech leader.
Since its inception in 2015, AIF has taken a global perspective with its academic boards as among the most international of its kind with members hailing from leading institutions in China and abroad.
